Key Information for International Students
Applicants who did not complete an undergraduate or graduate degree in an institution where the medium of instruction is English are required to submit TOEFL or IELTS scores.

Applicants are required to submit a course-by-course evaluation of all transcripts. A course-by-course evaluation will translate courses and grades to U.S. equivalency.
While US federal aid is not available to international students, SPS does consider international students for scholarships. There may be additional options from home countries, external organizations, and private loans.

The Office of Global Services (OGS) handles immigration matters for all students, faculty, and staff seeking immigration and visa support when traveling to NYU locations in the US and around the world.
SPS offers four master’s degrees and one bachelor's degree that are STEM-designated, meaning they offer students with F-1 visas options for extending their stays in the U.S. Learn more about STEM designations.

All SPS students have access to a wide range of academic support resources through their advisers and the Student Support Center. The Language Lab is also available to all international students.
The Wasserman Center for Career Development at SPS supports International students who are seeking work on or off campus. Meet with experienced career coaches to strategize how to build your professional brand and network with the industry. Utilize the many resources available including:
