Jones is a scholar of comparative international real estate, with a specialization in land use regulations, property rights, historic preservation, and cultural resource management.
Prof Jones has more than 25 years of experience serving clients in both domestic and international real estate development. Jones currently leads an international real estate consultancy, after serving as a partner at two international law firms where he focused on international trade, US-Mexico transactions, and real estate development & land use regulations.
Jones has led global real estate programs in Dubai, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Bangkok, Mexico City, and Vancouver.
Jones completed cross-border studies from the University of Arizona (Tucson) and the Tecnologico de Monterrey (Nuevo Leon, Mexico), earning a BA in Latin American Studies and Political Science, as well as a Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
