Fast Facts

Going Back to School

My plan for getting a degree was not to get a job, and this has proven to be a great mindset. It's through this lens that I studied, and at the end of my degree, I felt I had added an immense amount of knowledge to my arsenal to succeed anywhere I found myself."

The Student Experience

Human Capital Management

My business finance class was the most influential and economical decision I have made in my entire life. I learned to manage my personal finances and plan for my future because of the practical guide to compound interest I learned from one class."

I bonded with my capstone group; it was a culmination of everything I had learned at SPS: how to work in a team and produce results. We divided our roles based on our strengths and rotated to ensure everyone had an opportunity to try something new. It's tough, no doubt, but the goal is not only to pass but to put ourselves in high-stakes situations and see how we make decisions under pressure. It helped me develop empathy for others I work with because our decisions are largely influenced by our life experiences."

Edafe 2025

Running a campaign requires organizational skills, which was my concentration at SPS. I know how to create and operate a legal organization, budget, plan, strategize, and network—all skills I honed through classwork, assignments, presentations, and conversations at NYU SPS."
