From leadership programs to community service and social events, you will have many chances to engage with our vibrant community. Our student government and clubs and organizations, organize professional, cultural, and social events, often in partnership with academic departments. Engage and Thrive at NYU: Connect with Communities and Organizations

From open lectures and panels across program areas and schools, to discounted tickets to cultural venues throughout NYC, and 800 clubs and organizations, university life has something for everyone.

If you want to find your niche, NYU Engage Club offers a way for NYU students to locate communities, clubs, and organizations; find events; and engage via message boards, news posts, and group messaging. All NYU students have access to NYU Engage—just use your Net ID to log in and start browsing.

Community and Tradition: SPS’ Signature Events

Traditions have always held a very special place when it comes to university life. Whether it’s Spirit Week, an annual fall event filled with fun activities that bring our diverse community together through alumni networking, community service and socials, or Global Village, when students share their diverse cultures through food, music, and performances. Each academic year, we look forward to the Spring Cruise, Winter Ball, and the NYU All-University Games.

Discover NYC with SPS: Broadway, Sports & Museums

Take advantage of all that New York City has to offer through SPS “On The Town” events, NYU’s Museum Gateway, and the NYU Box Office.
